Proofing Formula of Phytagoras By Garfield

Welcome Back to my blog. In this opportunity i will proof about phytagorean formula. We know that until now, one hundred more about proof of the phytagorean theorem. One of them is proof of the phytagorean theorem by Garfield President.

From above picture, by using formula of trapezoid area we can find

By using formula of triangle we can find

From (1) and (2)

 

 According phytagorean formula, it say that the square of the sum of the two sides of a triangle is equal to the square of the longest side. So, the formula is proofed!
